Be sure to catch a mountain sunset before dining at one of the nearby restaurants. Beaver Creek, a top vacation resort in Colorado, houses three distinct villages. Each one has their own character, activities and vibe, so locals recommend visiting all three Beaver Creek villages to complete the experience. They are easily connected to one another, and guests can explore via ski lifts, public transportation, and paths and trails. To get started, we included all three and other must-do activities. Beaver Creek Village Located in the heart of this popular resort sits Beaver Creek Village. The village houses dozens of boutique shops, art galleries, bars and restaurants, all connected by heated walkways and escalators. Guests can spend the day browsing and shopping, which offers a break from the slopes. Retailers sell everything from clothing and sporting gear to jewelry and souvenirs. Art galleries include: By Nature Gallery, C. Anthony Gallery, Knox Galleries, Mudhead Gallery, to name a few. Those looking for more activities should attend one of the signature events in Beaver Creek. The renown Chocolate Chip Cookie Competition takes place annually on opening day. The events features bakers who bake 1,000 cookies and serve them until supplies run out. Guests can sample them all and vote for their favorites, too. Other events include kid festivals, a tree lighting ceremony, sporting events, and food and wine festivals. Bachelor Gulch Village Bachelor Gulch Village is part of the Village-to-Village ski experience, which provides an easy way to explore all of Beaver Creek’s terrain. Visitors find easy access to the main Bachelor Gulch Express Lift, perfect for beginner and intermediate skiers, as well as restaurants. Top places to eat in Bachelor Gulch include: Buffalos, Spago and Zach’s Cabin. Each restaurant specializes in American food with their own twist. Also located on site, the Ritz Carlton has a full spa. Bachelor Gulch Spa, located in the White River National Forest, offers services and touch therapies, natural remedies, beauty, and fitness. Visitors find nearly 24 private rooms, a salon and water treatment areas. Arrowhead Village To the west, visitors find Arrowhead Village, also a Village-to-Village member. Home to a ski lift for beginner and intermediate skiers, this is a popular spot for vacation rentals. Located at the bottom of Arrow Bahn Express Lift, guests enjoy a meal at Broken Arrow. This village also offers easy access to equipment rentals and free delivery through Beaver Creek Sports, an on-site retailer open during ski season. All amenities at the resort By phone if needed.
